Beginners Drift Day @ Tailem Bend

The aim of the day is not to create championship level drifters – but to allow drivers of rear drive cars to have a bit of fun and learn a few skills along the way.
The day will start with a classroom briefing and presentation of skid control. (This is the only classroom session for the day)
We run 6 different driving exercises on the day.
Left hand corner oversteer
Right hand corner oversteer
Combined right hand corner into left hand corner.
Handbrake turn into power oversteer
Power circle left
Power circle right
The format is a ‘round robin’ with drivers broken up into groups – each group spends a certain amount of time at each exercise and then moves on to the next exercise.
All exercises are conducted on wet roadways.
We also include lunch and soft drinks.
PLEASE NOTE THAT SPECTATORS ARE NOT WELCOME TO ATTEND. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE.
